Welcome! I’m Kutay Arınç Çokluk, a research assistant in the Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences at Ege University. My research focuses on binary neutron star mergers and multimessenger astronomy.

My aim is to understand how gravitational waves, electromagnetic signals, and neutrinos interact together in one of the universe’s most extreme environments—binary neutron star mergers.

Neutron star mergers provide a unique laboratory for exploring physics under extreme conditions. By employing state-of-the-art numerical simulations, I investigate how these collisions produce kilonovae and how neutrinos emitted during the merger influence the properties of ejected material, shaping the observable signatures we detect.
